Technical Account Management

IPI’s Technical Account Management (TAM) is a leading service within the networking industry, providing a proactive, preventative maintenance and consultancy service.

The TAM service has been designed around the fact that networks change and grow organically over time. A large network sees many changes and it is virtually impossible for an IT department to accurately monitor these changes, track and control the long term implications they have on network performance.

Technical Account Management provides IPI’s customers with a regular scheduled visit from one of our highly qualified consultants, some of the most highly trained and experienced network professionals in the industry. Once allocated, the consultant becomes the dedicated Technical Account Manager for that customer, allowing IPI to gain unprecedented knowledge of a customer’s network. The customer benefits from cost savings on permanent staff and the freedom to maximise network investment with direct access to IPI technical resource.

Many customers use TAM in a flexible manner, choosing to use allocated visit days for a specific purpose for a project or exercise. This also saves staff costs where specific professional support is required over a short period.
