Secure Networks

ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode)

A connection based technology, allowing very efficient transmission of data up to 622Mbps. Operates by dividing data into very small (53byte) packets known as cells and forwarding these across pre-defined routes. As ATM is designed to be easily implemented in hardware high speeds are easy to achieve. Typically used by carriers such as BT within their core networks.

IPI provide secure networks across the globe. If you would like to learn more about IPI Wide Area Networking products and services, please click here.
